Jun 22, 2026"Not sure about some of the negative reviews here on google map. Charlie & Lek is for sure one of the best restaurants we have experienced during our travels. The atmosphere is very vibrant and it looks like everybody knows everybody. The noise level in the front area of the restaurant is a little bit high, but there is a quieter section in the back. The menu offers many healthy options as well as Thai-classics. We ordered Khao soi with chicken, quinoa salad with tempeh, sticky rice with mango and 2 Chang beers. We had to wait a little bit for our food to arrive (it was very busy) and our main dishes did not come together. However, we truly enjoyed the presentation, the generous portions and the flavour of all meals received. When you're finished with your meal you queue up at the counter to pay your bill with Charlie. Thank you Charlie and his team for a lovely evening and we will be back tomorrow. Peter & Birgit (table B7)"

The staff is also very sweet the first evening it was really busy so we had to wait for quite a long time, the next day it was less busy and the food came really fast. Highly recommend the pumpkin curry, khao soi and tempeh salad (comes with quinoa and the peanut sauce was great!), fried rice was great too!"

May 03, 2026"Yummy local, family run restaurant! Wide variety of a menu, free glasses and drinking water I got the Thai omelette (asked for no rice) and it came with veggies and scallions in it very delicious! Thank you, I’ll be back for dinner sometime!"

May 01, 2026"Tried the pineapple red curry, warm banana flower salad, and green papaya pad thai — like a mix of papaya salad and pad thai. All were excellent! Banana flower salad was unlike anything I’ve had before in a warm curry sauce. The staff were so kind and served us even though we came right at closing! Thank you for the delicious food and service :)"
